The Houston Texans placed cornerback Jeff Okudah on injured reserve Wednesday with an ailing hip.Okudah will sit out the team’s next four games due to the move to IR.Injuries are nothing new for Okudah, who played in just nine games during his rookie season in 2020 due to hamstring, shoulder and groin injuries before a ruptured Achilles ended his campaign in Week 1 of 2021. He missed one game in 2022 with a concussion. He sustained his current hip injury on his fifth play of the season in the Texans’ 29-27 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
