The Toronto Raptors acquired injured center James Wiseman and cash from the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, ESPN reported.
The Pacers reportedly will receive a 2026 second-round draft pick in the deal.
Wiseman, 23, played just five minutes of the Pacers’ season opener against the Detroit Pistons and is out for the season after surgery on his left Achilles tendon.
Including the one game this season, Wiseman has averaged 9.1 points with 5.6 rebounds in 148 games (55 starts) for the Golden State Warriors (2020-23), Detroit Pistons (2023-24) and Pacers. He also missed the 2021-22 season after knee surgery.
The No. 2 overall draft pick in 2020 has played more than 45 games only once, when he averaged 7.1 points with 5.3 rebounds in 63 games (six starts) for the Pistons in 2023-24.
