No. 18 UCLA pounds Prairie View A&M to go 8-0 at home

Dylan Andrews scored a season-high 21 points to lead five UCLA scorers in double figures, and the No. 18 Bruins remained perfect at home in Los Angeles with a 111-75 rout of Prairie View A&M on Tuesday.UCLA (10-1), returning to Pauley Pavilion after dramatic wins at Oregon and on a neutral court vs. Arizona, needed no late-game heroics to move to 8-0 at home. The Bruins ran out to a 12-2 start in the first 3:22 and never trailed while sending struggling PVAMU to its 10th straight loss.UCLA endured a first-half field-goal drought lasting more than six minutes, but PVAMU (1-10) cut the deficit to just eight points, with the Bruins effectively getting to the foul line over that stretch.A 13-0 run early in the second half, punctuated by Trent Perry’s dunk, blew the game open. Perry was one of nine Bruins to make at least two field-goal attempts. Each of the Bruins’ starting five scored at least eight points, including Tyler Bilodeau with 18 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor and 7-of-7 at the free-throw line. Eric Dailey Jr. added 14 points and Kobe Johnson had 12 points to go with seven assists and five rebounds.
