Florida jumps to No. 2 behind Auburn in men’s Top 25

Auburn strengthened its grip on the No. 1 spot after winning a showdown with then-No. 2 Alabama, receiving 59 of 60 first-place votes in The Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday.The Tigers (23-2) lead the rankings for the sixth consecutive week following a 94-85 win against the Crimson Tide on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Ala.Southeastern Conference rival Florida (22-3) received the other first-place ballot and moved up to the No. 2 slot, with Alabama (21-4) dropping to No. 4.Duke (22-3) held on to the No. 3 spot, with No. 5 Houston (21-4) followed in the top 10 by Tennessee (21-5), Texas A&M (20-5), Iowa State (20-5), Texas Tech (20-5) and St. John’s (22-4).Michigan (20-5) made the biggest leap among ranked teams, jumping eight places to No. 12.
